Geraniums Instant Color is what our English Garden Pots provide. We pot up mixtures of annuals into 10”, 12” and 14” Terra-Pots. These pots are unique and will add instant color anywhere you might want to add some color. There’s no waiting for plants to fill out -these were potted up in late Feb. or early March and they are spectacular. Each year Donahues
has a large selection of “Proven Winners”.
'Fun with a Mannequin' The best part was that 'Proven Winners' loved our creative idea and we won the contest and $1000. When the check arrived we chose to give the funds to two great charities. $500 was given to each Faribault Area Hospice and Ruth's House.

- For years we’ve been growing beautiful 5” Zonal Geraniums. People come
back year after year to select our quality, blooming geraniums to fill
their window boxes, pots and baskets. We also grow larger pots to go right
out on your front step or patio. These patio pots add instant color and
eliminate the time and effort of planting up your own pots. Best selection

These plants work well
for use in your own pots and window boxes. With the “English Garden” look
being so in style, you can’t go wrong with trying some of the “Proven Winners”.
Choose from Nierembergia, Tapien, Biddens Goldie, Cuphea, Million Bells,
Wave Petunias, Sweet Potato Vine, Swan River Daisy, Lantana, Dahlberg Daisy
or Blue Wonder. Be sure to ask what is new for 2011.
During the winter of 2007 Donahues came up with the idea of planting a mannequin with 'Proven Winner' plants. We wanted to use the mannequin in the store and also to promote 'Proven Winners' . We were planning on entering our store display in a 'Proven Winner' contest. We designed 'Stella's' skirt of pink Vista Bubblegum Supertunia and her bodice was made of Lysimachia. During the spring season her dress went from being a tutu to a full length gown. 
This summer we tried to think of a way to style 'Stella' for the holidays. We succeeded with 'Euphorbia Diamond Frost' as her skirt. This is another great 'Proven Winner' variety. She had a few different looks throughout the holidays.

space or why not add a few perennials to an existing annual garden. You’ll
be amazed what color this can bring to your space.
